It was the first time for the citizens of Lezha to receive this service, which they received previously in Tirana or Shkodra. The hemodialysis sector was built inside the Regional Hospital of Lezha, after an investment that helped the general reconstruction of this hospital and the first hemodialysis service was given on October 2, 2016. Today 48 patients from Lezha, Rrëshen, Milot, Mamurras, Laç and Dibra receive the dialysis service in 15 dialysis chairs from a medical staff and asistents of 18 persons.
