Hemodialysis according to Public Private Partnership Project

On September 2015 the Ministry of Health declared winners of the tender in the frame of the Public Private Partnership “Offering the service of hemodialysis in five cities: Shkodër, Lezhë, Vlorë, Korçë dhe Elbasan” the joint project of the company Evita sh.p.k. and the American Hospital.

The regional hospital of Shkodra and Elbasan used to offer this service in facilities way below the minimum parameters necessary, with amortized medical equipment, insufficient capacities and far from the minimum standards. Today, in the frame of this concession project, the Hemodialysis center in Elbasan and Shkodra are fully reconstructed according to the highest standards.The regional hospital of Vlora, Korça and Lezha had never given this kind of service before.
